The ICL Group, a global chemical and mineral manufacturer, utilised Treedis to develop immersive learning experiences for employees across five different departments on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance). Throughout this week, the company's 15.000 employees, partners and suppliers worldwide will get to interact with 12 groundbreaking and immersive experiences created using Treedis to demonstrate the group's commitment to sustainability and excellence.
The Treedis team spent months developing high-quality experiences for ICL employees, in diverse areas, including safety, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, compliance and QA, and more.

ICL Provided Treedis with Powerpoint presentations they wished to turn in immersive experiences for employees to be fully engaged and retain all the information. All Treedis services were provided, from project management, to content production services, specific software and UI/UX developments, and technical and customer support. As a result, Treedis decided to create 12 different experiences, with an average of two per department, using the Treedis Experience Creator platform. The platform allowed for the creation of immersive experiences that would educate employees about ESG through interactive games, riddles, and quizzes. The experiences were created in full cooperation with ICL, and each department was provided with an average of two experiences.
To create engaging and immersive experiences for each department, Treedis used its Experience Creator platform to design a user journey that encouraged employees to go through all the training modules. Hub and Avatars were used to create a sense of community, and the 3D learning environment allowed employees to actively participate and train through games.
By using enhanced digital twins, ICL employees could become familiar with their surroundings before even entering the factory or lab physically. Treedis created CGI environments to perfectly match ICL's requirements.
To create the 3D learning environment, Treedis 3D editor was used to stage information, hazards to find, or just content for employees to learn more about ICL's commitment to sustainability or about the company.
The experiences were created in 9 different languages to ensure that all employees could understand the content.
Our Experience Creator, as well as Production Services, were utilised to create an immersive and engaging experience fit to ICL's ESG team training objectives.
Experiences with immersive and gamifying elements have been proven to maximise knowledge retention and interaction with content over flat PowerPoint presentations, and thereby reducing associated costs and risks.
It allowed employees to experience learning in a unique and engaging way that made the training more memorable and effective. The interactive games, riddles, and quizzes kept employees engaged throughout the training.

Overall, the solution was successful in creating engaging and immersive experiences for ICL employees to learn more about ESG. From first meetings to the completion of this complex project, it only took four months to make sure that it was ready, tested, and ready to launch during the event.
The experiences were tailored to each department and provided employees with a unique and interactive way to learn. The high completion rate and positive feedback from employees demonstrated the success of the solution in achieving its objectives. The completion rate reached 71.5%, 65% higher compared to the previous year.
Engagement time was monitored as well, with an average time of 10 minutes per experience.
Overall, Treedis invested maximum resources into improving and updating the technology according to ICL's various departments' needs, which resulted in a faster, more convenient, and more efficient workflow. The ICL and Treedis Collaboration was also praised for its direct communication channel with ICL employees, ensuring a positive workflow and sticking to the plans approved at the beginning of the process.
