Post-Summit Reflections: Unpacking Treedis's October Insights from the Augmented Enterprise Summit
October was a month where Treedis not only expanded its network but also solidified its position at the forefront of the ever-evolving landscape of cutting-edge technologies.
This journey began on October 17th at the Future Digital Twin Conference in Amsterdam, where Treedis, accompanied by new partners Amazon Web Services, unveiled the synergy that would define their collaborative future in the world of Industry 4.0.
A mere week later, the team traversed continents to make their mark at the Augmented Enterprise Summit in Houston, Texas, joined by the familiar faces of their longtime partner, Matterport.
The summit, boasting a remarkable turnout of over 1000 attendees and featuring more than 90 enterprise presenters, stood as the epitome of all things XR and Metaverse in Enterprise.
Collaboration with Matterport: Elevating the End-to-End Solution
Representing Treedis at the Summit, Boaz Goldschmidt, VP of Business Development, highlighted the noteworthy collaboration with Matterport. The two companies have been steadfast partners since the inception of Treedis in 2019.
He shared insights into how Treedis seamlessly complements Matterport’s offerings, together crafting an essential end-to-end solution that forms a comprehensive package for enterprise clients.
Matterport performs the 3D scanning and seamlessly stitches the images together, while Treedis enhances these digital twins with dynamic functionality.
Notably, Matterport’s Bradley Ewert, the Enterprise Account Executive, and Gary LeBanc, the Sr. Enterprise Sales Development Representative, invited Boaz to present alongside them at their booth, underscoring the collaborative spirit that defined the event.
Inside the Booth
The event's distinction lay not only in the variety of industries represented, including giants like NASA, Coca-Cola, Chevron, and Delta Airlines, but also in the depth of meaningful conversations fostering potential collaborations.
Within the booth, Treedis and Matterport curated a space for interactive discussions, delving into the realm of training, particularly virtual training using VR or digital solutions.
“What was special about these discussions was that they weren’t focused on one industry alone, there were many that engaged,” said Boaz, showcasing the universal applicability of Treedis’s solutions.

Exploring Partnerships in Hardware Integration
The summit also provided a fertile ground for exploring partnerships in hardware integration, with discussions and progress already underway with integrations between Treedis and companies like Magic Leap, Pico, and MetaQuest.
Boaz emphasized the natural synergy between hardware providers and Treedis as a software solution, foreseeing mutual recommendations that solve clients’ pain points.
Treedis Networking Event: A Culmination of Connections
A standout moment was the Treedis Networking Event, held off site at the Fig and Olive restaurant.
Treedis extended invitations to all those who visited their booth to create an exclusive atmosphere for mingling and connecting.
Seizing the moment, Boaz took the stage to express gratitude and shed light on Treedis’s core values, emphasizing the importance of investing not just in financial endeavours but, more crucially, in the people shaping their journey.
This commitment is reflected in Treedis’s dedicated focus on connected workers in Industry 4.0.
Boaz delved into the challenges anticipated in the upcoming decade, particularly recruitment and knowledge transfer.
He explained that Treedis plays a pivotal role in addressing these challenges by actively contributing to training initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency, and safeguarding institutional knowledge.
Forging Ahead with Innovation and Collaboration
As Treedis closed the chapter on an eventful October, it's evident that the month was more than just a series of events; it was a testament to Treedis's growth, adaptability, and its pivotal role in the evolving world of Industry 4.0.
From the halls of the Future Digital Twin Conference in Amsterdam to the vibrant atmosphere of the Augmented Enterprise Summit in Houston, Treedis, in collaboration with its partners like Amazon Web Services and Matterport, has not only showcased its technological prowess but also demonstrated its commitment to driving innovation in the enterprise sector.
